The fabric – woven by an Italian jacquard mill – was never intended to be “traditional” at all. Yet the classic floral pattern on a deep navy background, with its subtle red stripes, ended up inspiring our very first Tracht collection.
Freda works beautifully as a traditional skirt – with its fringed hem, fabric-covered buttons and, of course, pockets. But it feels just as at home in a sushi restaurant in New York, paired with a cashmere sweater and boots.
Heritage? Yes, please.
